Given its turbulent past as well as its apparently austere character, it is not very strange that the Amsterdam School architecture of Asterdorp has remained underexposed.

Much has been demolished in Amsterdam's Indische Buurt neighbourhood. This relatively austere Amsterdam School block is fortunately still there. Too bad half the ‘turrets’ have disappeared!
